Indonesia's Independence Day is celebrated every August 17th. To enliven August 17, in addition to holding a flag ceremony, almost every region of Indonesia and even offices hold competitions to commemorate Indonesia's Independence Day. The competitions held include climbing areca nut, sack race, eating crackers, and others.
This year, PT Pratesis held an August 17 competition, which the Pratesis internal team attended. This competition is divided into two, namely sports games and fun games. The sports games competition held was futsal. Fun games were held in glass moving games, wire inserting games, and sarong moving games. This Fun Games competition is a competition with a more entertaining theme. The laughter of the employees made the atmosphere melt and eased the tension at work.
The first winner of the Fun Games was Team 1, followed by Team 2 as the second winner, and Team 3 as the third winner. The Fun Games to insert the wire was won by Team 3 in the first position, followed by Team 1 in the second position, and Team 2 in the third position. The next Fun Game was moving the sarong, and the first position was won by Team 3, the second position was won by Team 2, and finally, Team 1.


The futsal competition is held in 2 stages. Matchday 1 was held on August 11, 2023, and the second matchday was held on August 18, 2023. The futsal competition requires employees to work together and use strategies in one team. In this competition, there were 4 teams totaling 24 people who participated in the match. The L1 Pratisis team also enlivened the futsal match. The L1 team are employee assigned to support areas throughout Indonesia.

This August 17 event is expected to make the atmosphere in the office more fluid and fun for all employees. The different divisions cause many employees to not know each other. By holding this August 17 competition, it can be used as a place to get acquainted and strengthen relationships among employees. Employees also learn to be sporty in admitting defeat and congratulating the winner of the competition.
