Docuflo e-Reports and Statement (e-RS) Overview
It is understood that it is a routine for any banks to generate statements, notices, and even reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for use in decision making process. These output / report must reach the intended recipients ASAP for decision. The role of Docuflo e-RS System is to capture spool data from the existing backend / core system or line-of-business (LOB) sytem and produce the output in desirable formats (PDF). The final PDF document is then sent for printing, electronic distribution (fax, email) and stored on central repository. It can then be integrated to their existing portal for online statement retrieval or enquiry.
In a nutshell Docuflo e-RS System comprises of three major modules:
- Process module
- Manage module
- Delivery module
Process Module
All the reports and statements are created as a template and the data generated from the backend core systems are mapped into the template. Within the template, users will be able to compute calculations including business rules validations. Marketing material can also be inserted for cross selling purpose. Templates are created easily and quickly using GUI based forms designer within minimum or no programmer intervention.
Docuflo e-RS system is able to examine and identify the input data streams, splitting data into separate documents and removing unwanted data such as banner pages. Final documents can be produced in multiple formats such as PDF, PS (Postscript), PCL (Print Command Language) and XML.
Manage Module
The PDF output document generated (PDF format) are stored and managed in a centralized environment ready for distribution, online retrieval and reprinting.
Delivery Module
Docuflo e-RS System supports multiple modes of electronic delivery – email, fax, print, web enabled hosting. With the proliferation of ‘green’ initiative, email delivery and web hosting is fast becoming a norm.
In addition, Docuflo e-RS System can be integrated to the bank’s portal to cater for online enquiry or download. The delivery module can also be interfaced to the SMS gateway to send out sms notifications to the respective clients or agent when statement that is ready to be collected or viewed via the portal.
